The Natural Hair Care program only 300 hours is designed to teach how to care for natural hair without the use of chemicals such as perms/relaxers, hair color and special course included with Head Spa techniques.

Natural Hair Care

The Natural Hair Care program is designed to teach how to care for natural hair without the use of chemicals such as perms/relaxers and hair color. The style techniques include braiding, twisting, wrapping, extending and locking natural hair. The coursework also include teaching the proper health, safety, and sanitation procedures to avoid spreading infections. The students will be able to apply their skills to clients who visit the clinic.

After successfully completing the course, the students will be able to sit for the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Art’s exam to become a licensed Natural Hair Care Specialist.

01. Course Schedule

FULL TIME (5-8 WEEKS)

Mon – Fri (9:00AM – 6:00PM)

PART TIME (10 Weeks)

Mon-Fri (9AM – 3PM)

NIGHT TIME  (10-13 WEEKS)

Mon – Fri (6:30PM – 10:30PM)

General admissions require must be 16+ years old and students must present the following requirements:

  • Course in English, Vietnamese, Spanish
  • Driver License (or ID, Green card, Passport)
  • Social Security Card
  • $100 Non-Refundable Application Fee
  • Exams registration and preparation
  • (1) NIC Board Computer exam
  • (1) NIC Board Practical exam
